FTM Energy Storage EMS

Amid the rise of renewable energy and the global push toward net-zero carbon emissions, grid stability has emerged as a critical challenge. ICP leverages its strengths in system integration and software development to deploy front-of-the-meter (FTM) energy storage systems, supporting Taiwan Power Company and large electricity consumers in performing power regulation and backup at the grid’s front end.

By integrating energy storage equipment with an Energy Management System (EMS) for real-time monitoring and intelligent dispatching, Jiayun enhances grid resilience, reduces peak loads, and facilitates the integration of renewable energy. This ensures a stable and reliable power supply, creating an energy environment where green energy and grid stability coexist.

Comprehensive EMS for Energy Storage Systems (BESS): ICP provides a full-scale Energy Management System (EMS) that integrates with PCS and BMS for real-time equipment monitoring and control. The system performs precise active (P) and reactive (Q) power regulation based on Taipower’s scheduling, grid frequency, and voltage requirements.

Substation Design, Planning, and Construction: Covers the complete design and implementation of substations, including SCADA monitoring systems, protection and control, communication systems, cabinet design and manufacturing, as well as on-site wiring and installation.

Connection to Taipower’s ADCC (formerly RTU): Ensures secure and compliant integration with Taipower’s Automatic Data Collection and Control system.

SPS (50+2) Special Protection System Deployment: Develops and implements special protection systems in accordance with SPS (50+2) requirements to enhance system reliability and grid security.

Integration with Taipower’s Dispatch and Trading Platform: Enables seamless communication and data exchange with the Taipower dispatch operation and electricity trading platform.

Web-Based Resource and Bidding Management Platform (Subscription-Based): Provides a cloud-enabled platform for resource management and bid participation, supporting subscription-based access for flexible operations.
